Sculpture by the sea

Before I continue other story, I write about that what said on title.

I went to Bondi Beach on Monday afternoon to see sculptures. I walked with friend from Bondi beach to Tamarrama beach. Unfortunately, weather wasn't good on that afternoon. I think it is a reason that all photos are unclear.

There are many interesting sculptures and walking the side of beach is good exercise and is beautiful to walk by the sea . I want go again when weather is good.

continue - 7 wonder things

I haven't finished story about 7 wonder things in Australia. I only wrote 2 things on my blog last time, so I continue to write about it today.

This is a 3rd wonder thing for me in Australia. Here we go......

I'm living Sydney now, here is hardly to find clocks on public places such as a shopping mall or on the street. I was asked the time on bus stop or on street when they found that I was wearing a watch on my wrist. Recently, people are carrying mobile phone which shows time on screen. I'm not sure they have right time on there mobile phone or not but it is not my business . I believe that It is not a big problem for people to find the time anymore.

Another thing , this is a 4th thing .

When I catch a train or bus on busy time ( so is called rush hour)I can see that especially in the summer time. Many women go to work with thong. It seems to me miss match with the thong.
On top of their look are perfect by make up and have neat hair as working women but they have thong instead of high heels. Moreover, I see some women change high heels to thong and shove shoes in their bag without cover.That is also I can't understand too.

7 wonder things

When I came to Australia, I noticed few different things in here compare to my country(
Japan).
I think all migrants have this experience when they come to here . So, here is mine.

I lived with Australian girl for few month. Firstly, I was surprised that how she washed dishes in kitchen. She just put water in sink with washing soap and washed dishes in sink. After washed dishes she just let dishes dry on kitchen towel without rinse ! Isn't there still soap on dishes?
And it might be no good for human body? I asked her why she doen't rinse dishes.

She said 'all kitchen soaps in Australia are no harmful because they are made by natural products.' ??? I don't know the truth yet.

Another thing is that here is hardly find vending machines. We can buy many things on the street such as coffee, soft drinks,cigarette,noodles, beers , ice creams. I can't buy these in here.
I asked friend 'Why here is no vending machines?'

His answer was ' It might be stolen if these staff are on the street' I don't know the truth yet.

There are more different things I find. I'll tell you more next time.

funny story?

We have a writing class on Thursday. Today, teacher passed paper to us that have funny stories in English.

I was thinking about my mistake I made on English.
This is true story.

When I was working in city office, I was working as a receptionist at Optometrist, it happened around 4PM. We ( Optometrist and me) were just waiting a patient who had appointment at 4:30.
Suddenly we heard big bell which is fire alarm and we were told to go outside . I called to patient and told her that she have to cancel an appointment because we didn't know how long takes for this emergency evacuation.

Luckily, we were allowed to back to work after 40 minutes. I send a text to my friend '
We were evacuated because of bum!'

I could imagine the reaction of my friend when she read this message .

Yes, there was a suspect about BOMB!
Now, I never misspell the BOMB to BUM because of this mistake.

This is me

I like to do drawing. This is a one of my hobby.
I started drawing after I became crazy about to read Japanese comics. I like to draw all comics characters, such as POKEMON ,ASTRO BOY, INU YASHA etc.

I just started to draw real persons from last year.
Although I never had been learned from drawing course I enjoy to draw after got some ideas of technique from book .
I 'm studying English and I don't have much time to do it now.
I like to do more drawing after I finish this course . I believe that just keep practcing is important to improve drawing.

shopping

I went to Pyrmont today because I had appointment to pick up a stuff .

I bought a FOOT SPA through by e-bay.I paid only $3 for this second hand one.I was thinking to buy a new footspa but I checked e-bay and found this. I was surprised after I won to buy this .

The lady who sold this to me is very nice young lady. She is moving from parent house to own place and just want to get rid off some stuff .This is the one of them. It is true that is a big stuff and take a much space to put away.

After I came home, I washed and used it . Actually my son tried it first.

He loves it.(^^)
I like to use it too. It is just a little bit noisy and takes a time to wash it.

Maybe I don't use much in summer time. It will be more for next winter, I think.

Rozelle Market

It was a freezing and rainy day on yesterday. I worried about weather because I was planning to go to Rozelle market today.
I woke up 6am this morning. surprisingly, after heavy rainy days it was fine today.
I arrived to Rozelle market around 9am. My friend sells Japanese pizza(Japanese name is OKONOMIYAKI) in there every Sunday.
My friend let me sell some of my stuff under her tent.

I try to sell some of DOG CLOTHES. There were a lot of dogs came but unfortunately nobody want buy my dog clothes. At the end of the day, I sold none.

Anyway, I had a good time with my friend and enjoyed market.
I like to go to market. People who are selling stuff in there are very friendly and I like to talk to them. It is good practice for me to speak English to others.

The other thing is that it makes me happy when I get a good stuff with a little money.

Here is my tip! Don't forget to ask them to discount.
